Children's Fund Management
Lambeth has got a very active voluntary sector. Both the management of the Lambeth Children’s Fund (LCF) and a model of commissioning that has been developed, seek to engage with the voluntary sector, community and faith groups. The LCF is managed by the Partnership Board, which has 50% of its core membership from the voluntary sector. The lead agency for the programme is the London Borough of Lambeth. The Partnership Board includes specialists such as the Youth Offending Team, Play Service, Police and Children & Young People Service. The Board meets every six weeks, with an annual general meeting. A Programme Manager and a core team of staff manage the programme on a daily basis. The Programme Manager reports directly to the Partnership Board and CYPFD (Children, Young People and Families Directorate) at the Government Office for London.
