Staying Safe
Helping children to stay safe
This service provides a range of activities for young people to ensure that they have access to safe, fun and creative activities while out of school, where they can use their skills and talents positively. The projects offer opportunities for young people, especially those at risk of offending to develop positive self-identity and relationships with others and avoid negative peer influences.
Youth Inclusion Support Panel/Youth Offending Service
Lambeth Youth Inclusion Support Panel (YISP) has been set up to reduce and prevent the involvement of children and young people aged 8 to 13 years old in offending, anti-social behaviour or other negative social experiences. The YISP aims to help children who are at risk at an early stage so that they can stay "on track" in the future.
The Panel has members from council services, voluntary sector projects and community groups who are able to refer children, parents, and carers who ask for support onto services and activities that may be able to help.
