Edd Balls announces that the Children's Fund will continue for 3 more years

The Children’s Fund was due to end in March 2008. But on the 18th July, during his speech at the National Children's  Bureau's conference, the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families Ed Balls announced  that it will continue over the next three years with furhter investment of  £396 million .
